A new study conducted by Cryptovantage shows crypto investors are considered more attractive, smarter, and wealthier than non-investors.
Reporting from Bitcoin.com, Tuesday (2/8/2022), more than three quarters of respondents said they are more likely to date someone if their dating app profile is crypto related. However, about 69 percent of crypto investors surveyed admitted they had a relationship that ended because they invested in cryptocurrencies.
The survey was conducted on 1,002 Americans, 50 percent of female respondents find crypto investors more attractive than non-investors. Around 46 percent of respondents think crypto investors are more desirable while 42 percent think they are smarter.
Then, about 34 percent consider crypto investors to be richer than non-investors. Meanwhile, 40 percent of male respondents think crypto investors are smarter than non-investors.
Regarding whether they would consider dating someone who mentioned crypto on their dating app profile. The study found that more than three-quarters of respondents liked it and chose to swipe right on someone who mentioned being a crypto investor on a dating app.
While 55 percent said they were more likely to go on a date or meet someone who invests in crypto.
When asked if cryptocurrencies are used to make payments on a date, 37 percent of respondents said they pay with crypto.
About 31 percent of respondents said their partner paid with crypto while 13 percent said they both paid with crypto.
“Our survey results also show crypto investors can get more matches on dating apps than others: About 76 percent of people say they’re more likely to swipe right if someone’s dating profile says they’re a crypto investor,” said the Cryptovantage study.
